Doha: HE Minister of Endowments of the Syrian Arab Republic Mohammad Abu Al Khair Shukri, along with a delegation from the Supreme Fatwa Council, visited the General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the visit, Director-General Eng. Hassan Abdullah Al Marzouqi presented the origins and development of endowments in Qatar, including an overview of the nation's endowment laws. The Syrian Minister also examined models of key projects, notably the Jabal Thuaileb Endowment Project, highlighted as one of Qatar's largest.

The visit concluded with a meeting where the parties discussed cooperation in endowment management and potential enhancements. Discussions also covered the "digital" endowment initiative by the General Directorate, aimed at integrating digital and technological advancements, including artificial intelligence, to advance institutional and community development.
