Damascus: Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al Shaibani met Tuesday with US Special Envoy to Syria, Thomas Barrack, who is visiting Damascus, and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides also discussed recent developments in the region, enhancing joint cooperation, and issues of mutual interest.
