Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman held talks on Tuesday with Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman. During the meeting, they discussed opportunities to open new avenues for cooperation, partnership, and investment between the two countries, particularly in the commercial, industrial, agricultural, and tourism sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, they also discussed current political developments in the region and ways to support security and stability.
