Doha: Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of the Sultanate of Oman received a phone call from German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Sunday. The phone call addressed the current regional situation and its ongoing conflicts and tensions.

According to Qatar News Agency, both sides stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to solidify de-escalation and avoid the risks of further confrontation, in a bid to safeguard regional and international security and stability.
