Casualty Toll from Aggression on Gaza Reaches 55,362 Martyrs, 128,741 Wounded

Gaza: The casualty toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 55,362 martyrs and 128,741 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported Sunday that 65 martyrs, including 8 recovered martyrs, and 315 injured individuals arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. The total number of casualties recorded since the Israeli occupation violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18 reached 5,071 martyrs and 16,700 injured.

The report added that within the past 24 hours, 26 martyrs and more than 117 wounded were received among those seeking humanitarian aid, raising the total number of aid seekers who have died after arriving at hospitals from designated aid distribution areas to 300 martyrs and over 2,649 wounded.

Additionally, the Ministry said that there are still a number of martyrs trapped under the rubble, whose bodies have not yet been able to be recovered by ambulance and civil defense teams.

The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip continues to deteriorate due to the Israeli occupation’s obstruction of humanitarian aid entry, ongoing bombardment across all areas, and the targeting of remaining medical facilities, service centers, and displaced persons’ tents.
