Mogadishu: Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre discussed with Deputy Director General for Operations at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Ugochi Daniels, who is visiting Mogadishu, ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides and accelerate the implementation of the organization's programs in line with Somalia's National Transitional Plan (2025-2029).
According to Qatar News Agency, Barre emphasized the importance of continuing to implement projects that contribute to development and stability in Somalia. These projects are crucial for the nation's progress and aim to align with the goals set forth in the National Transitional Plan.
In response, Ugochi Daniels affirmed the International Organization for Migration's commitment to strengthening its presence in Somalia. She assured that the organization would continue to implement its programs, which support various vital sectors essential for the country's development.
The meeting between Barre and Daniels marks a significant step in fostering collaboration aimed at supporting Somali development initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of IOM's strategic programs in the region.
