Mogadishu: Somali Foreign Minister Abdisalam Abdi Ali held talks Monday with his South Korean counterpart, Cho Hyun, on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, during a videoconference, the two ministers also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest, as well as regional and international developments. The South Korean foreign minister reaffirmed his country's commitment to international law and the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other states, stressing full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
