Mogadishu: Somali Foreign Minister Abdisalam Abdi Ali met Tuesday with the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Special Envoy to South Sudan, Musa Jama Ali, to discuss ways to enhance peace and cooperation at the regional level. During the meeting, the Somali minister reiterated his country's firm commitment to peace at both the regional and continental levels.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Somali Foreign Minister emphasized his country's keenness to strengthen close coordination with IGAD and regional partners. The discussions focused on collaborative efforts to address regional challenges and promote stability across the Horn of Africa.
