Doha: Oil prices steadied in early trade on Wednesday after two consecutive days of losses. Brent crude futures for December delivery rose 12 cents to $66.15 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose by 12 cents to $62.49 a barrel.
According to Qatar News Agency, Brent and WTI both experienced significant declines earlier in the week. On Monday, Brent and WTI both settled more than 3% lower, marking their sharpest daily declines since August 1. On Tuesday, they each fell at least 1.5% further.
