Saudi Stock Index Closes Lower Amid Mixed Trading Activity

Riyadh: The main Saudi stock index closed lower on Sunday, recording a decline of 23.17 points, and concluding the trading session at 11,228.64 points. The total trading value amounted to SR 2.9 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the volume of traded shares hit 216 million. In the day's trading, 170 companies saw an increase in their share prices, while 82 companies experienced a decline in their share values.

The parallel Saudi stock index, Nomu, showed a positive trend by closing up 449.38 points. It reached 24,093.12 points, with trading activity valued at over SAR 16 million and the number of shares traded surpassing 1.8 million.
