Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index fell by 70.90 points on Monday, closing at 10,885.32 points. The total value of trades amounted to SR 4.6 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw the exchange of 546 million shares. Out of the traded companies, shares of 72 companies saw an increase in value, while 177 companies experienced a decline by the end of the trading day.
The parallel market, known as the Nomu index, also witnessed a downturn. It decreased by 209.73 points, closing at 26,781.28 points. The trades on the Nomu index were valued at SR 29 million, with the number of shares traded exceeding 3 million.
