Saudi Stock Exchange Ends Trading Session with Modest Gains

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s main index concluded Wednesday’s trading session with a slight increase, adding 0.49 points to settle at 11,005.02 points. The total value of trades for the day was reported at SAR5.6 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw a total of 245 million shares being traded. Within the market, 149 companies experienced an increase in their share values, while 89 companies saw their shares decline.

The Saudi Parallel Stock Exchange Index (NOMU) experienced a decrease, dropping 84.03 points to close at 27,223.71 points. The trading value on NOMU was SAR25 million, with the number of shares traded surpassing two million.
