Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced Thursday the interception of two missiles and the destruction of seven drones.
According to Qatar News Agency, the official spokesperson for the ministry, Major General Turki Al Malki, stated that a ballistic missile launched toward the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia was intercepted and destroyed. He provided details on another ballistic missile targeting Prince Sultan Air Base that was also intercepted and destroyed.
Al Malki further reported the interception and destruction of seven drones heading toward the Shaybah Oil Field in the Rub' Al Khali desert.
