HH the Amir Receives Phone Call from New Zealand Prime Minister

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Thursday from HE Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Luxon. The call focused on the current situation in the State of Qatar amidst the ongoing Iranian aggression.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister expressed his concern over the situation and condemned the aggression against Qatar and other regional countries. He commended the leadership of HH the Amir and Qatar's effective crisis management strategies. The Prime Minister acknowledged the steps taken by Qatar to ensure the safety and security of its residents, including New Zealand citizens.

HH the Amir expressed gratitude to HE the Prime Minister for his support and highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Qatar and New Zealand. Both leaders emphasized the need for an immediate cessation of hostilities and the importance of engaging in dialogue and diplomatic efforts to resolve issues, ensuring the region's security and stability.
