Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of a drone east of Al-Kharj governorate.

According to Qatar News Agency, the official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense Major General Turki Al-Maliki stated that a drone was intercepted and destroyed east of Al-Kharj governorate, which is located southeast of the capital, Riyadh.

The Saudi Civil Defense reported that a drone crashed into a residential area in Al-Zulfi governorate, located in the northern part of Riyadh, resulting in minor material damage but no injuries.

The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense clarified that the relevant authorities began addressing the incident immediately upon receiving the report. It was determined that the drone had fallen into the residential area and caused minor material damage, without any injuries.
