Moscow: Russian President, Vladimir Putin, Monday signed the law on ratification of the agreement on the comprehensive strategic partnership with Iran. The agreement sets out the framework for both countries to deepen and expand their relations in all areas of mutual interest, enhance cooperation in the fields of security and defense, and closely coordinate activities regionally and globally.
According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement also stipulates that both sides may conduct joint investments in third-country economies. The agreement was signed in January 2025, during Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian's visit to Moscow.
