Kuwait Condemns Racist Calls by Israeli Settler Groups to Demolish Al-Aqsa Mosque and Build Alleged Temple

Doha: The State of Kuwait has strongly condemned and denounced the racist and provocative calls issued by extremist settler organizations affiliated with the Israeli occupation for the demolition of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the construction of the alleged temple on its ruins, in a flagrant violation of Islamic sanctities and the feelings of Muslims around the world.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement issued today, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the seriousness of these statements, which coincide with an escalation in incursions and violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation forces. This heralds a dangerous deterioration and unprecedented escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the continued aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The statement affirmed Kuwait's complete rejection of unilateral Israeli measures and violations of the legal and historical status quo of Jerusalem and its holy sites, calling for urgent international action to protect the holy sites and halt violations in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.

It also reiterated Kuwait's firm and principled stance on the Palestinian cause and its support for the Palestinian people, their rights, and their legitimate struggle to establish their independent state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
