Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke over the phone, on Monday, with his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, to discuss the outcomes of the Alaska summit talks he held with US President Donald Trump. A statement by the Brazilian presidency reported that during the 30-minute call, Putin apprised da Silva of the summit details, which he described as positive.
According to Qatar News Agency, da Silva underscored his country's support for all efforts aiming to reach a peaceful solution for the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Last Friday, the Trump-Putin talks were held in the State of Alaska, which focused on the conflict in Ukraine.
