Doha: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Thursday that its air defense systems shot down 69 Ukrainian drones last night in the country's southwestern provinces.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry reported the downing of two drones in Crimea, 27 in Belgorod Oblast, 22 in Voronezh Oblast, 10 in Lipetsk Oblast, and 8 in Kursk Oblast.

Russia and Ukraine have exchanged almost daily reports confirming that each side has repelled attacks from the other side. This information has not been independently verified due to the ongoing fighting since Feb. 24, 2022.
