Khan younis: At least seven Palestinians were martyred and dozens more injured, most of them critically or seriously, Thursday after Israeli occupation forces targeted civilians waiting for humanitarian aid in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that the Israeli army struck civilians near the desalination area east of Khan Younis, resulting in an initial toll of seven fatalities and numerous injuries.

Medical sources confirmed that the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire while waiting for aid has risen to 45 since early this morning.

The overall death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has climbed to 57,130 martyrs, with 135,173 others injured, according to the latest figures released earlier today by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
