Al Ghuwariyah: The Qatar Scouts and Guides Association (QSGA) organized a cellular journey camp for preparatory boys, drawing the participation of 200 scouts from 12 different scout teams across preparatory schools in Qatar. The camp was held under the slogan "Loyalty and Values" at the Scout training center located in the Al Ghuwariyah area.
According to Qatar News Agency, the camp was designed to enhance the national sentiment among the scouts, foster community engagement, and equip the participants with essential knowledge, skills, and scouting orientations. The camp also sought to channel the scouts' energies towards creativity, excellence, and global connectivity.
The activities at the camp were aligned with the Qatari scout curricula tailored for the age group of 12-14 years. The camp emphasized the importance of adhering to the Scout law, instilling religious, social, and health principles, and nurturing innovation among the scouts. It also focused on using democratic methods in discussions, developing physical abilities, and encouraging the scouts to play effective roles within society, including participating in voluntary services across various sectors.
Among the schools represented at the camp were Al Ahnaf Bin Qays School for Boys, Abu Obaida School for Boys, Al Razi School for Boys, Osama Bin Zaid School for Boys, Abdul Rahman Bin Jassim School for Boys, Al Yarmouk School for Boys, Khalid Bin Ahmed School for Boys, Abou Baker El Seddik Preparatory School for Boys, Talha Bin Obaid Allah Preparatory School for Boys, Ali bin Abi Talib Preparatory School for Boys, Hamza Bin Abdul Muttalib School for Boys, and Al-Jamiliya School for Boys.
