Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened Sunday trading in the red, slipping 6.81 points, or 0.06%, to 10,908 points compared to the previous session close, despite positive performances across various sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, QSE data showed gains in several sectors, led by Consumer Goods and Services, which rose 0.67%. This was followed by Transportation with an increase of 0.50%, Insurance at 0.44%, Banks and Financial Services at 0.32%, Real Estate at 0.29%, Telecoms at 0.25%, and Industrials posting a slight rise of 0.01%.
As of 10:00 am, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 34.71 million shares, with a total turnover of QR 94.91 million across 3,227 transactions.
