Doha: Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering innovation in the healthcare sector by emphasizing the exchange of knowledge and best practices. This commitment is aimed at supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and effectuating positive changes in global healthcare. According to Qatar News Agency, QFFD's engagement was prominently showcased during its participation in the 7th edition of the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH 2024). At the event, QFFD presented the "Healing Journey" booth, an interactive exhibit demonstrating the Fund's significant contributions to healthcare, with a particular focus on conflict-affected regions. This initiative allowed attendees to engage with the Fund's vision for a healthier and more equitable future, highlighting both humanitarian and developmental solutions to pressing health challenges. Furthermore, QFFD organized a high-level roundtable discussion titled "Strengthening Health Systems in Fragile and Conflic t-Affected Settings." This session brought together leading experts in healthcare and humanitarian aid to tackle the complex issues that impede access to essential health services in crisis-impacted areas. Through collaborative dialogue, participants sought innovative strategies to enhance the resilience and sustainability of health systems, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive necessary care, even amid challenging circumstances.
