QFA Chief Commends Amir Cup Final’s Organization and Technical Quality

Doha: HE Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain has lauded the technical quality and organization of the 54th edition of the Amir Cup final. Speaking after Al Gharafa SC triumphed over Al Sadd SC with a 4-1 victory to claim the title for the ninth time in the club's history, Al Buenain expressed appreciation to all government, sporting, security, and media bodies involved in organizing the event.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Buenain commended the efforts made to provide a distinguished experience for the supporters who attended the final at Khalifa International Stadium. The event coincided with the 50th anniversary of the stadium's establishment, adding significance to the occasion.

Al Buenain noted that the final had been executed in an exceptional manner and extended congratulations to Al Gharafa for securing the trophy. He also recognized the achievements of all clubs that won football titles during the 2025-2026 season, describing the campaign as successful on all levels and highlighting the strong technical performances displayed throughout the year.

The QFA president also praised local media organizations for their crucial role in supporting Qatari football and providing coverage for competitions and events throughout the season.
