Doha: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issued Tuesday Government Ijara Sukuk on behalf of the Ministry of Finance with a value amounting to QAR 3 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, QCB's data reveals that the maturity periods of the Sukuk varied with QAR 1.5 billion being an addition to an existing issuance maturing on January 16, 2029, with a yield of 4.5%, and another QAR 1.5 billion maturing on August 24, 2030, also with a yield of 4.5%.
In a post on the X platform, the bank clarified that total bids for the Sukuk reached approximately QAR 8 billion.
