Es’hailSat and EgyptSat Forge Satellite Capacity Partnership for VSAT Services

Es'hailsat: Es'hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, and EgyptSat have signed a multi-year satellite capacity agreement for EgyptSat to provide VSAT services to their customer base located in Egypt and spread across the Middle East and North Africa region.

According to Qatar News Agency, this agreement follows from the partnership signed last year between both companies to leverage the combined satellite services as well as the wide ground infrastructure of both companies that brings with it the latest technologies in satellite communications and VSAT technology.

President and CEO of Es'hailSat, Ali Ahmed Al Kuwari, expressed that Es'hailSat is entering this multi-year capacity agreement with EgyptSat to combine the high-powered Es'hail-1 satellite and ground segment strength of both companies for the interest of VSAT customers across Egypt and the MENA region.

Al Kuwari highlighted that as the satellite operator of choice for commercial, government, and defense customers across Qatar and the MENA region, Es'hailSat's services remain available to provide resilient and secure connectivity. The partnership with EgyptSat is seen as an opportunity to grow the VSAT and managed service portfolio for key customers.

The partnership is expected to benefit a range of customers across applications such as VSAT communications, enterprise connectivity, telecommunications, and other digital services. The companies are extending their cooperation into areas such as training, pricing, and collaboration as preferred partners.

VSAT is a satellite-based solution that provides internet connectivity in remote areas, making it suitable for companies requiring continuous connectivity, such as oil platforms and mining sites.
