Qatari Delegation Engages in Egyptian Cultural Week Planning

Cairo: The Egyptian Cultural Week in Qatar convened its inaugural coordination meeting in Cairo, marking a significant step in the cultural collaboration between Egypt and Qatar. A delegation from Qatar's Ministry of Culture attended the meeting, which focused on the organizational specifics for the event scheduled to take place at Darb Al Saai from January 28 to 31.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting underscored the aim of the Egyptian Cultural Week to celebrate Egypt's rich heritage and foster cultural cooperation through a series of artistic performances and workshops dedicated to traditional and heritage crafts. The event will feature open spaces and an open theater, providing a platform for cultural exchange.

The Qatari delegation contributed their insights and proposals to ensure a successful and high-quality event, highlighting their commitment to strengthening cultural ties between the two nations. This event will also be the first cultural highlight of 2025 in Qatar, setting the tone for future collaborative endeavors.

In a related statement, Egyptian Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano emphasized that the event reflects the profound cultural relations between Egypt and Qatar. It aims to showcase the Egyptian cultural identity through its heritage and arts. The minister also noted that Egypt is eager to present an image that honors its ancient and diverse culture while reinforcing cultural cooperation with Qatar.
