Qatar Wraps Up Participation in Cityscape Global 2024 Exhibition in Riyadh.

Riyadh: The State of Qatar concluded its participation in the Cityscape Global 2024 exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. HE Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah led the Qatari delegation during the four-day event. According to Qatar News Agency, HE Al Attiyah addressed the conference, elaborating on the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the significant projects underway aimed at creating a sustainable society driven by a knowledge economy. His Excellency emphasized the Ministry of Municipality's dedication to ensuring the country's urban planning aligns with economic and social development goals, thereby enhancing quality of life and sustainability. Highlighted projects include initiatives to develop a national framework document for development and natural resource management, a comprehensive strategy for open space, recreation, and sport facilities development, a comprehensive national infrastructure plan, and a comprehensive national infrastructure database project. HE Al Atti yah also mentioned that Lusail City is undergoing a transformation into a smart city in accordance with QNV 2030. This transformation is focused on user experience and aims to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and integrated communication through the use of artificial intelligence and real-time data analysis. During the exhibition, His Excellency and the delegation reviewed advanced technological innovations related to smart cities, as well as the latest architecture and infrastructure designs. The Cityscape Global 2024 exhibition is sponsored by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, in collaboration with the Real Estate General Authority and the Housing Program, which is a key initiative of Saudi Vision 2030. The event is organized by Tahaluf, a joint venture between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones and the Events Investment Fund.
