On the Arab front, Al-Watan newspaper reported that the Israeli army killed a Palestinian and wounded 12 others in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip, as part of its ongoing violations of the ceasefire in effect since last October. In the Negev, Israeli authorities demolished the Palestinian village of Al-Araqeeb for the 244th time over the past 15 years.
Al-Watan added that Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting Nabatiyeh Governorate in southern Lebanon, constituting a new violation of the ceasefire agreement. An Israeli army force also attacked a group of children and women in the northern countryside of Quneitra in southwestern Syria by firing smoke bombs at them.
The newspaper concluded by warning that three Arab sides were subjected to Israeli attacks, cautioning that this could expand further to impose new realities on the ground.
