Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced an upward movement as it closed higher on Monday, recording a gain of 31.15 points, or 0.30%, to reach 10,564.57 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 168,340,098 shares were exchanged during the trading session. The turnover amounted to QR 450,142,911.154, with transactions spanning 32,400 across all sectors. In the latest trading activity, shares of 36 companies saw an increase, while 12 companies' shares declined, and 5 companies' shares remained unchanged.

Market capitalization also witnessed an increase, reaching QR 631,023,516,197.154, compared to QR 627,580,991,532.82 in the previous trading session. The trading day showcased a positive trend in the market, reflecting investor confidence and economic stability.
