Qatar Stock Exchange Closes Higher, Gains 19.11 Points


Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed today’s trading session on a positive note, with its main index rising by 19.11 points, or 0.17%, to settle at 10,977.66 points.



According to Qatar News Agency, trading activity was moderately active, with 82,904,532 shares changing hands across 12,389 transactions, generating a total turnover of approximately QAR 245 million.



Market performance was mixed, with 21 companies posting gains, while 24 companies saw their share prices decline. Six companies maintained their previous closing prices. At the end of the session, the market capitalization increased to QAR 657,639,100,531.358, up from QAR 656,747,549,127.563 billion recorded in the previous session.



The day’s performance reflects cautious investor optimism amid broader regional and global market trends. Analysts point to sector-specific movements and earnings expectations as key drivers of market sentiment heading into the final quarter of the year.
