Qatar Stars League Unveils Preparations for Qatar Cup 2025 Final

Doha: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) has announced the arrangements and preparations for the Qatar Cup 2025 final, which will see Al Sadd face off against Al Duhail on Saturday at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club.

According to Qatar News Agency, the announcement was made during a press conference at the QSL Headquarters. Present at the event were Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication at QSL, and Ahmed Salman Al Adsani, Director of Competitions at QSL, alongside media representatives and Qatar Cup Ambassadors.

Al Kuwari expressed his welcome to all attendees and congratulated both teams on reaching the final of the prestigious tournament. He highlighted the importance of the preparations and arrangements, conducted in collaboration with stakeholders and partners, to ensure exceptional performance on all fronts.

Tickets for the anticipated match became available on Monday, May 5, exclusively through QSL's official website, tickets.qsl.qa. Fans can look forward to a dedicated fan zone operational two hours before kick-off, featuring facilities and entertainment activities designed to enhance the fan experience.

Additionally, attendees have the chance to win valuable prizes through a raffle, including a car and cash prizes totaling QR 10,000 for each participant in the Golden Goal half-time activation. Al Kuwari extended gratitude to all sponsors, partners, stakeholders, media organisations, the Host Broadcaster, and Qatar Cup 2025 Ambassadors for their support.

Al Adsani also congratulated the teams and noted the ongoing preparations to ensure a memorable final, coordinated with the two clubs and other relevant parties. A Technical Meeting was conducted with representatives of both teams to discuss organizational procedures, match-day operations, and the coronation ceremony. It was reiterated that if the match ends in a draw, 30 minutes of extra time will be played, divided into two halves. Should the draw persist, a penalty shoot-out will determine the winner.
