Doha: Al Shamal SC announced on Tuesday the signing of Tunisian player Youssef Snana from Club Africain on a contract until 2030. In a statement, the club confirmed that the player signed a five-season deal in the presence of Head of Football Operations, Mishaal Al Ali, without disclosing the financial details of the transfer.

According to Qatar News Agency, this marks Al Shamal's third foreign signing during the current summer transfer window, following the acquisition of Egyptian midfielder Akram Tawfik from Al Ahly and Spanish winger Alex Collado from Real Betis. Under Spanish coach David Prats, Al Shamal aims to deliver strong performances in the upcoming season, which the team will prepare for with a training camp in Netherlands from July 17 to August 5. The camp will include three friendly matches.

Al Shamal finished sixth in Qatar football league last season.
