Tashkent: The State of Qatar is actively participating in the 4th International Legal Forum, known as the Tashkent Law Spring, focusing on "The Age of Digital Technology: A Legal Perspective on the Future." The forum is organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and serves as an international platform for discussing modern legal regulations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation is led by HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, along with representatives from various relevant entities. The forum gathers experts, lawyers, legal scholars, and business decision-makers from around the world to exchange expertise and discuss legal developments related to the business environment, information technology, and innovative partnerships.
The discussions at the forum include the challenges faced by legal professions amid rapid digital transformations and the potential impact on legal practices. Participants are exploring trends in the automation of legal procedures and the protection of intellectual property rights. The program features a range of official and public sessions, panel discussions, specialized workshops, and advanced training courses aimed at deepening dialogue on contemporary legal issues.
On the first day of the forum, HE the Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs held separate meetings with HE Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akbar Tashkulov and HE Minister of Legal Affairs and Institutional Reform of Malaysia Dato' Sri Azalina Othman Said. These meetings focused on legal and judicial cooperation between Qatar, Uzbekistan, and Malaysia, and explored ways to strengthen and further develop these relations.
