Qatar Engages in GCC Financial and Audit Bureaus Meeting

Kuwait city: The State of Qatar participated in the 22nd meeting of Their Excellencies the Heads of the Financial and Accounting Audit Bureaus of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which was held today in the State of Kuwait. The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by HE President of the State Audit Bureau Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Emadi, who headed the Bureau participating delegation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting discussed several topics on the agenda. Among the primary subjects was the approval of the strategic training plan for the years 2026-2028, aiming to enhance cooperation and expertise among the GCC countries in financial auditing and accounting. Additionally, the results of the sixth GCC competition in the field of control and accounting for research and studies were reviewed, highlighting the region's commitment to advancing knowledge and practices in these fields.

The gathering also focused on the organizational regulations for the Career Excellence Award, which is designed to recognize outstanding contributions and achievements within the financial and audit sectors of the GCC countries. This initiative underscores the emphasis on promoting excellence and fostering a competitive spirit among professionals in the region.
