Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday with the All Share Index gaining 15.08 points, reaching 8,727.26 points, an increase of 0.17 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, trading involved 498.5 million shares valued at KWD 117.5 million, approximately USD 358.3 million, across 26,977 transactions. The Main Market Index rose by 36.30 points to 7,917.97 points, marking a 0.46 percent increase. This was achieved via 241.7 million shares in 14,548 transactions, with a total value of KWD 41.12 million, or roughly USD 125.4 million.
The Premier Market Index also experienced an uptick, gaining 10.53 points to reach 9,360.38 points. This index saw 256.8 million shares exchanged through 12,429 transactions, amounting to KWD 76.3 million, equivalent to approximately USD 232.7 million.
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index advanced by 36.09 points, closing at 8,112.86 points, a rise of 0.45 percent. This was accomplished with a stock volume of 182.3 million shares in 9,468 deals, valued at KWD 33.13 million, or around USD 101 million.
