Qatar Chamber Hosts Training on ISO 26000 CSR Management System

Doha: Qatar Chamber has successfully organized a training program titled 'Certified ISO 26000 Lead Auditor on Social Responsibility Management System,' in collaboration with the Regional Network for Consultancy (RNC), a member of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility (CSR).

According to Qatar News Agency, the four-day event welcomed 17 participants from various Qatari entities and several Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates. The training aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of modern trends and principles of social responsibility as outlined by the ISO 26000 guidelines. Participants learned about the fundamental principles and core subjects of social responsibility, as well as the auditor's role in planning, leading, and following up on audits. Practical aspects of managing audit processes within organizations were also covered.

Fatima Issa Al Kuwari, Head of Training and Development at Qatar Chamber, highlighted the program's significance in bolstering national and regional efforts to enhance human capacities according to international standards. She reaffirmed Qatar Chamber's dedication to offering specialized training programs that align with labor market needs and enhance productivity across the governmental, private, and non-profit sectors. Al Kuwari also expressed her appreciation for the strategic partnership with the Regional Consulting Network, which she noted significantly contributes to delivering high-quality training programs and consulting services, supporting the goals of the participating institutions.
