According to Qatar News Agency, the pan-European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.15 percent, with most EU stock markets also rising. The food and beverage index rose 1.2 percent, making it the best-performing sector during the session.
Shares of German chipmaker Infineon rose 4.6 percent after it slightly raised its full-year earnings forecast and indicated the beginning of a recovery in the global semiconductor market despite ongoing concerns about tariffs.
