Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza Sigrid Kaag, who is currently visiting the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion centered around the robust relations between Qatar and the United Nations, exploring avenues to enhance their collaboration. They focused on the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, addressing the challenges confronting humanitarian efforts, and deliberated on strategies to ensure the sustainable and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid throughout the region.

HE the Prime Minister emphasized the necessity for the international community to take responsibility in addressing the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza. He highlighted the importance of confronting the starvation policies employed by the Israeli occupation in its ongoing conflict with the Palestinian people.
