Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani today met with HE Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and HE Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umero, who are currently visiting the country. Discussions during the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation relations between Qatar and Ukraine.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting also addressed the latest developments in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and explored ways to achieve a peaceful resolution. Both parties expressed interest in resolving the crisis through dialogue and diplomatic channels. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the conflict.

The Ukrainian officials expressed appreciation for Qatar's role in reuniting Ukrainian children with their families and commended the country's diplomatic efforts. They also acknowledged Qatar's active involvement and positive influence in Ukraine and on the global stage.
