Prime Minister of Qatar Engages in Diplomatic Discussion with Egypt’s Foreign Minister

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty. During the call, they discussed the cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation also focused on developments in the region, particularly concerning the ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both leaders deliberated on efforts aimed at de-escalation, contributing to enhancing security and stability in the region.

During the call, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of all parties responding positively to ongoing mediation efforts. This, he noted, would help in addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, ultimately leading to a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.
