Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a telephone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abbas Araghchi. During this conversation, they addressed strategies to mitigate regional tensions and highlighted the importance of continuing negotiations between the United States and Iran.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister emphasized Qatar's ongoing support for initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and achieving peaceful resolutions that bolster regional security and stability. He stressed the critical need for collaborative efforts to shield the region's populations from the fallout of escalating tensions.

His Excellency underscored the importance of sustained coordination with allied and friendly nations to resolve differences through diplomatic channels.
