Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr Anwar Ibrahim to discuss the latest regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders evaluated the ongoing military escalation in the region and its implications for regional and international stability. They explored ways to resolve disputes through peaceful means.

During the conversation, HE Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the importance of enhancing coordination and intensifying joint efforts to achieve an immediate cessation of any escalatory actions.

He also underscored the necessity of returning to dialogue and prioritizing reason and wisdom to contain the crisis, ensuring global energy security, maintaining freedom of navigation, protecting environmental safety, and upholding the overall stability of the region.
