Gaza strip: Health authorities in Gaza Strip have said the death toll from Israeli occupation's offensive since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 72,265 martyrs, with a further 171,959 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, in the latest update on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that hospitals in the territory had received two bodies and 11 wounded people over the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health added that other victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them.

The ministry indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire last October has risen to 689, and the total number of wounded to 1,860, while 756 bodies have been recovered.
