Prime Minister and Egyptian Foreign Minister Discuss Regional Mediation Efforts

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty. The meeting focused on the cooperation relations between Qatar and Egypt, exploring ways to enhance these ties further.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions highlighted mediation efforts between the United States and Iran, alongside developments in Lebanon, the Gaza Strip, and the occupied Palestinian territories. Both ministers emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts to support mediation, aiming to reduce regional escalation and strengthen security and stability.

HE the Prime Minister stressed the necessity for all involved parties to engage with ongoing mediation initiatives. He highlighted that such engagement could help address the root causes of conflicts through peaceful dialogue, ultimately leading to a sustainable agreement that prevents future escalation.
