Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni bilateral relations between the two countries as well as regional and international developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, a statement from the Turkish Presidency highlighted that Erdogan stressed his country's commitment to offer any assistance in hosting negotiations that could lead to comprehensive peace to end the war between Ukraine and Russia.

The Turkish President emphasized the importance of seizing the available opportunity and called for intensifying efforts to achieve peace.
