Khan Yunis: The toll from Israeli occupation airstrike on the vicinity of the European Hospital in southern Gaza Strip has jumped to 16 fatalities and 70 injuries.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources said the emergency departments of Nasser Medical Complex declared a state of maximum emergency with the European Hospital in Khan Yunis no longer able to deal with those wounded in the shelling. The hospital also sustained damage in the attack.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have been waging a genocide in the enclave, murdering 52,908 civilians, mostly children and women, and wounding 119,721 others. Yet, this total toll remains incomplete with many bodies trapped under the rubble and scattered on the streets, inaccessible by ambulances and rescue teams.
