Brussels: HE President of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Belgium, Peter De Roover, met in Brussels on Wednesday with Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari. The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing pressing regional issues.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on the ongoing situation in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, Syria, and the Russia-Ukraine crisis. These topics are of significant concern as they continue to impact regional stability and international relations.

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Khalid bin Fahad Al Hajri, was also present during the meeting, underscoring the importance of diplomatic engagement between Qatar and Belgium. This gathering is part of ongoing efforts to foster dialogue and collaboration on international issues of mutual interest.
