Doha: Preparations are ongoing to start the 24th Asian Junior Bowling Championships 2025 at the Qatar Bowling Center between July 25 to August 2.
According to Qatar News Agency, co-organized by the Qatar Bowling Federation (QBF) alongside the Asian Bowling Federation (ABF), the event will witness the participation of the most notable players from ten countries in Asia. The competition will feature teams from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, China, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, Bahrain, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and India.
The organizing committee is continuing its efforts to complete the arrangements related to the launch of the competitions. Teams and delegations are set to arrive on Thursday and tomorrow, Wednesday, which will then be followed by a meeting between the heads of the teams to agree on all details related to the kick-off of the competitions.
The official training will start on Saturday, during which the players will be informed about all concerning details. The official opening ceremony will be held at 5:00 PM on the same day at the Qatar Bowling Center, lasting for an hour, during which the participating teams will be reviewed.
The official competitions will begin on Sunday with the girls' singles competition at 10:00 AM and will conclude at 1:00 PM with the crowning of the champions. The boys' singles competitions will be held the following day over two rounds starting from 10:00 AM until 5:30 PM, followed by a crowning ceremony for the winners at 6:00 PM.
The boys' and girls' doubles competitions will be held next Tuesday, followed the next day by the boys' and girls' four-person team competitions. The team competitions will continue and conclude next Thursday with the crowning of the winning teams.
The first round of the master's competition for both boys and girls will take place next Friday, concluding on Saturday with championship prizes being awarded to the winners. The QBF has a history of accomplishments in the Asian games across different levels for men, young adults, and juniors. The Federation aims to present a unique edition that represents Qatar's leading position in organizing such events regionally and globally.
