Doha: The registration window for the sixth "Police Officers of Tomorrow" program, slated for Summer 2025, will open on Thursday, May 22, via the Metrash app, as announced by the Police Academy.
According to Qatar News Agency, Captain Hamad Khalid Al Mannai, who chairs the committee overseeing the program, stated during a press conference that the initiative aims to deepen national identity and foster a spirit of loyalty and belonging among young people. It also seeks to instill noble values, promote responsibility, and contribute to community service. Additionally, the program is designed to embed authentic Islamic and Arab principles through activities that develop leadership skills and enhance confidence among participating students.
The program targets Qatari students born between 2013 and 2016, organizing them into six groups. Three groups will attend morning sessions from Sunday to Thursday, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, while the other three will join evening sessions from Saturday to Wednesday, between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
The first and second groups are scheduled to participate from June 28 to July 10, followed by the third and fourth groups from July 12 to 24. The final two groups will attend from July 26 to August 7, with each student participating for a two-week period.
The program will include military and sports activities, as well as awareness and guidance lectures. These will be presented by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the National Cyber Security Agency, and the National Human Rights Committee. Additionally, field visits to departments within the Ministry of Interior and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) will be part of the program.
